Viking Self Storage in Norwich had a fantastic summer season this year, and for some unit sizes ran out of available stock. With a huge range of different sizes available the team was always able to accommodate each customer’s requirements, but some unit sizes just seemed to be extremely popular.
To meet the demand a new phase of units is being developed in the coming weeks, specifically designed to provide the sizes where there have been shortages, to meet future customer demand.
Following the installation of the new units, each unit door will then be fitted with its own intruder alarm, matching the security standards enjoyed by the existing self storage units onsite at Viking in Norwich.
At the same time as creating the new individual storage units, a large 750sqft unit is being created for a business customer who came to Viking at a time of crisis. Their existing warehousing provider had gone into administration without warning, and their stock held there risked being impounded or destroyed unless it was moved out quickly. The team at Viking sprung intro action, offering as much space as they needed to sort, work with and store their stock whilst they decided what they needed in terms of a future warehousing solution. Within a matter of weeks, they were so pleased with the flexibility and support offered by the facility and the staff at Viking Self Storage, they decided that they had found their ongoing space solution and a bespoke unit is being provided to meet their needs.
The staff at Viking take in deliveries for them, the security and access are ideal for their needs, it is a pleasant environment for their staff to work in and extra space can be made available short or long term, and at short notice. Whilst they weren’t necessary looking for this solution, they are delighted to have found it.
